How to Parallel Park

As one of the reversing manoeuvres that comes up on the driving test, good parallel park technique is important. Having confidence with parallel parking allows you to be able to correct any mistakes comfortably.

In this free online video course on how to parallel park, we will show you a detailed run through of correct technique plus common mistakes that occur and how to fix them so you can pass your driving test.

On your driving test, the examiner will ask you to stop the car on the left hand side of the road. They will then give you instructions and ask you to use a vehicle in front to park around. You must finish within two car lengths of the car in front and reasonably close to the kerb.
